What you are describing sounds a lot like the unauthorized practice of law.

If you are working under the supervision of an attorney, then you can call yourself a paralegal.

If you are working independently, in California, you must call yourself a Legal Document Assistant, and any advertisements, bills, proposals, contracts, statements must explicitly state that you are not an attorney, and that you can only provide self-help assistance at your client’s direction.

In other words, you cannot provide any legal advice.

Also, you can only provide information that is generally publicly available.

In addition, under the California Business and Professional Code, all Legal Document Assistants must register at the Recorder’s Office in the County where they intend to conduct business, and they must provide proof that they completed a minimum of 60 semester units of paralegal studies, and that you possess a $25,000 bond of indemnity against errors and omissions.

Let’s look at this differently and see if some of it makes sense. They told you pillows, you tried that, it didn’t work. Now they say the bed and you are asking what if it doesn’t work? Good question because what are you going to do if you have to sleep some place else? The problem isn’t really the bed, it is your back and neck. I went through a lot of the same problems and now it doesn’t matter where I sleep or on what I sleep, I don’t have any trouble anymore. You have muscles in your back that are pinched or tight and when you sleep in different ways it can either pinch them harder or make them tighter. Exactly what happens doesn’t matter as long as you can get the relief you need. When you do you will find other things in life easier as well, just sitting around or standing, walking will feel differently because you are going to be rid of the pain in your back that is causing this to begin with. Here is what you do to release those muscles for your back and neck, and do the neck one first:
For your neck:
place your hand alongside your head and push your thumb in under your ear and place it on the muscle there. Take your fingers and place them on the back of your neck on the muscles there. Press them together and hold a good amount of pressure on them. Then relax, take a deep breath an happening, the muscle going limp under the pressure. Continue to hold until the entire muscle has gone limp.
Back:
Place your left hand on your left knee. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and with your fingertips find the muscle next to your spine. Press on it and hold. Relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body. After about 30 seconds there should be a release happening and when it does slowly lower yourself forward onto your right leg. If you can lean over the outside edge of your leg it will be better for your release. Continue holding for a total of one minute. Then release but rest your body there for one minute longer. Then reverse and do the right side.
For lower back, on the buttocks:
Put both hands behind your back and place them on the muscles alongside your spine and press on them and hold. Now relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body. When the release starts to happen, slowly lower yourself forward as far as you can go. Then release the pressure but hold your body there for one minute longer.
I added the lower back one as well, it may be of help. I have used that one all the way to the end of my tailbone and found results. If you have other problems let me know i will try to help. I feel like you, that is a lot of money for a bed that may not work, or if it does it’s still only while you are on it. I prefer to take care of the problem, not put bandaids on it.

You don’t need to make more money you only need to change the way you get money. You father needs on a Good Trust attorney. Essentially he forms a trust and sell the company to it the trust is protected from any suits against your parents. The trust can form it’s own land holding company including a rental company that can buy you parent’s house and rent it back too them for a dollar a year. I also had gaps in my work history but for different reasons. First of all, employers understand that there can be gaps in the work history for a variety of reasons. I would suggest that you go to Yahoo’s Hot Jobs. They walk you right through a resume and when you’re done with it, you can print it out to take with you on interviews. You don’t say where you live. I would get on the internet and plug in a search that says “employment in (your city), and then your state. You should have plenty of leads there. But I found Hot Jobs on the yahoo site the best. It was simple and easy to do. I hope this helps. I feel for you because I am out of work again, so I am updating my resume and sending it out to employers……I can really empathize. No denying it, this is a toughie. I remember my first day back to work after my first son was born. It was awful! But just because your stomach is in knots, make sure your little one views this in the most positive light as possible. They pick up ques from Mommy and if Mommy is acting like the world is going to end, they will feel the same way.

Try to do your best to smile and explain that you are going to be doing some grown up things during the day now and he will be staying with Grandma (or whatever he calls her). Tell him that you will be home soon and that he’s going to have so much fun with new adventures and games and toys with your mother.

Give him a picture of yourself (preferably one of you holding him) to keep nearby to look at during the day. Write him a little note each morning and leave it for your mother to read to him if he gets sad during the day. You might even want to take some photos and drawings to make him a little “book” that Grandma can read to him, showing you getting up in the morning, getting dressed for work, hugging and kissing him good bye. Then have some pictures of him laughing and playing with Grandma. Then show you coming home at the end of the day, hugging him and showing that he can look forward to seeing you after a fun day with your mom.

If she’s able to, it may be a good idea for your mom to join a play group (like Mommy and Me) that she can take him to during the week that is special for just him and Grandma. He’ll interact with other kids and it will provide something positive to look forward to that he can go with your mom.

It’s ok to cry during your lunch hour. Keep a picture of him on your desk and remember that it will get easier and easier.

I have 3 boys – 12, 5 and 3 and I’ve had to go back to work after each one. I spent a year with my oldest, 8 months with the middle one and only 8 weeks with the little guy. I was sad each time, but it got easier to let go.

You’ll also be surprised at how much you will gain from “adult conversation” on a regular basis!

First of all, in a marriage, there are a lot of issues that have to be agreed upon with a husband and wife. One of them is finances. I never liked at all, the my money versus your money. In a marriage, it is our money. Decisions whether a woman stays at home or works, is a discussion between the partners and that discussion should be honest and fair. Once that decision is mutually made, that is the end of the discussion. If that is not the subject, let me know.
Some families decide that the husband stays at home for economic reason. And that is OK with me also as long as it is a joint decision.

I’m just gonna get cheesy and say it’s totally worth NOT getting paid to be able to stay home with my child(ren). Not every mom is able to stay at home with their kids even if they really want to and my heart goes out to them. I couldn’t imagine having to drop my kid off to daycare every day.
