I have no idea what to wear, and need some ideas quickly.

I don’t want to do anything really big just something that counts. last year I raised £100 for sport relief by doing their run but I’m stuck for ideas on this occasion

Ideas to raise money for a Girl Scout trip?
I am looking for ideas on how to raise money for a girl scout trip to Houston ,Tx for a girl scout convention in 2011. Myself and my troop live in Indianapolis,Indiana. Any ideas will help.

I don’t know if you’re a close community or not but in our community we did a really good fundraiser and raised a lot in this way:
We had a Weight Watch “Biggest Loser” competition over the course of 8 weeks where people could enter individually or in groups. It cost $5 to register for each individual or $2 each for a group. The whole idea was when you are registered you go get your initial weight (all confidential of course, only one person did the weigh ins) and every tuesday everyone would come to the community center to weigh themselves, and here’s where we raised the money. For each pound a person gained they had to pay $2 and for a group, say one person in the group gained a pound, everyone in the group would have to pay $2. Also every week we gave each person a leaflet on facts and myths about dieting and weight loss and a healthy low fat recipe.
I think it was a really great idea to help encourage people to stay active and keep fit and healthy while raising money for a good cause (paying for gaining was a real motivating factor! )
