Questions & Answers On Money Programs For Pc

Mark asks…

Is there a better alternative to Microsoft Money for PC?

I’ve been using MS Money for about a year now, with much frustration. The program has alot of quirks to it, and the so called ability to sign into your money account from any computer has never worked for me. Not to mention Microsoft no longer supports the 2006 version of Money to which I have… so I can’t get help with it anyway. CRAP.

That being said… I’ve heard of other Money programs out there… Quickbooks, Quikken… anyone know of a solid, reliable money program that will be worth investing in? I’ll do research on this, but I’d like to see if anyone has any experience using the software. Thanks!

My mom uses My Envelopes which she swears by. I’m pretty sure they offer a free trial too.

Have you head of the The Budget Book by Judy Lawrence? (link below…. And they sell it Barnes & Noble) I love this book. It’s very detailed and literally makes you realize all the little things you spend $$$ on that you normally wouldn’t include in a budget. It’s about $20 and in the back of The Budget Kit (it’s paperback) is a free MyEnvelopes cd-rom for a month or so free. I tried it and liked it a lot.

G’luck.

Cindy asks…

Any programs like iMovie out there for the PC for next to no money?

author answers:

There’s not any free good one’s.

But the illegal way is to use torrents and download them.

Search like Adobe Premiere Elements or Adobe Premiere Pro on torrent site like http://www.btjunkie.org or http://www.thepiratebay.org and use http://www.utorrent.com to download it.

Jemima asks…

How can I get Microsoft Money to from my PC to my laptop without the install CD?

I downloaded Microsoft Money online, i payed for it and everything. But now i would like to use it on my laptop and i dont know how to get the program without having to purchase it again

author answers:

When you downloaded it there should have been an installer and perhaps a directory of files. You’ll need to move that to the laptop and install it. However, if it came with a license key then it may be good for only one machine.
